Foundation
This is a legal entity with assets of at least 30,000 Francs. The purpose of a
foundation may be the support
and furtherance of members of a certain family
or a certain person. In other cases foundations may also be
established to
support charitable endeavours. Management and representation of a
foundation is undertaken
by the foundation board in compliance with the
guidelines determined by the founder. The beneficiaries
of a foundation
are those persons or organisations that receive benefits by virtue of the
foundation rules.
